COURSE OVERVIEW - 50 Mile

The course consists of two out-and-back.  From the start line at Cornelia Fort Airpark, runners will utilize the Shelby Bottoms Greenway to reach the Cumberland Pedestrian Bridge.  Once across the bridge, runners will follow the Two Rivers Greenway all the way to Percy Priest Dam.  At the dam, runners will turn around and reverse course, passing the start line before continuing along the Shelby Bottoms Greenway toward Shelby Park.  Runners will circle Sevier Lake, pass by Shelby Golf Course and Vinnie Links Golf Course before exiting the park on Davidson Street.  Runners will follow the bike path along Davidson Street all the way to the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge.  After crossing the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge, runners will run through a portion of downtown Nashville, running alongside the bridge back to 1st Ave., along the bricks of Riverfront Park. At the top of Riverfront Park, runners will take a right and run the Cumberland River Greenway. Once runners pass under I-65, they will take the Metro Center Levee Greenway to Ted Rhodes golf course.  At the golf course, runners will turn around and reverse course back to the Start/Finish line.

COURSE OVERVIEW - 50K and 50K Ruck Run

Runners will utilize the same out-and-back to Percy Priest Dam, back to the start, then continuing along the Shelby Bottoms Greenway towards Shelby Park.  Runners will turn around at 26.5 miles and reverse course back to the Start/Finish line.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

The course is paved walking trails and bike trails. The entire route is part of Nashville's sprawling Greenway system. The route includes pedestrian bridges that cross over the Cumberland River at two different points.  The route also passes by Nissan Stadium, home of the NFL Tennessee Titans.

Please note, roads are not closed for this race.  All runners should use caution as if they were on a normal training run.  Runners MUST abide by all traffic laws and, whenever possible, run against traffic.  There are a couple of points in the downtown section where runners will cross roads with live traffic.  There are volunteers at each road crossing to inform you of when it is safe to cross.  Traffic is minimal on a Saturday.
